Sundiver Charters In addition to running our regular Open Boat trips, the Sundiver is available for Private Charter. You can charter the entire boat for a special day of diving for your group. This is a great way to visit your favorite spots or to discover new ones. Groups can have up to a maximum of 26 passengers for day trips, and 22 passengers for overnight trips. Tanks are included on all trips. Please note that due to Coast Guard Regulations we are unable to make any exceptions as to the maximum number of passengers aboard our trips. Thank you for your understanding.
Groups Have you been reluctant to charter a full boat because you are not sure if you can fill it? While it's great to charter a boat since you can select your dive sites and save some money, we realize it might be out of reach for some. Now you don't have to charter the whole boat to select your dive spots and get a discount. When you get a group together you can select the dive sites and/or receive a special group discount. Depending on the size of the group you will receive a discount or select the destination and dive sites. If your group is big enough you get both! If you have a group of eight or more you will get a discount and/or select the destination. The details will vary some depending on the date in question. Give us a call and we will try and work something out with you!

What To Bring DIVE EQUIPMENT Wetsuit (6.5mm is the norm), hood, boots, gloves. The water can reach the low seventies in summer to the mid fifties in winter. Mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, BCD, depth gauge, pressure gauge, dive computer, weights and weight belt, timing device, gear bag, and dive tables. During the day a dive light is helpful. For a night dive two lights (one as a reserve) and chem lights. NEW FOR 2006, LUXFER 6351 ALLOY ALUMINUM TANKS Due to increased concern over the safety of earlier Luxfer tanks, we have elected to discontinue re-filling them on the vessel. You are welcome to bring them but will be referred to one of the vessel tanks after your first dive. We will have (26) 85 cu ft Worthington low pressure steel tanks, (2) 63 cu ft aluminum tanks, and (4) 50 cu ft aluminum tanks available on board for your use at no charge. As in the past you only pay for your air fills. A number of local dive shops are offering very attractive programs to trade in your 6351 tank. PERSONAL ITEMS Jacket, warm clothes, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses. For multi day trips we supply blankets and pillows. You might want to bring a sheet as bunks are coated with vinyl. PORT SECURITY In light of 9-11 it is always a good idea to carry proof of ID. A drivers license should suffice for US citizens. For international travelers your passport is always best. Although rare, the US Coast Guard randomly boards vessels on coastal waters for ID checks. MISCELLANEOUS Camera, film, strobe, dive knife, slate, spare parts, log book |
